There are knit cuffs and waistband, two snap pockets plus a zippered sleeve pocket, and a place to hold four writing instruments. Up and Away's MA-1 Flight Jacket is made of water resistant nylon twill material, and is washable. Happy flying! Note: We normally recommend jackets one size larger than the age of the child. This particular style is tapered (like the real pilot jackets since there isn't a lot of extra room in the cockpit), and close fitting. If a loose fit is desired, please order the next larger size.

I bought this jacket for my seven year old grandson who loves military aircraft. He was beside himself when he received this jacket. He fit into a size 6 perfectly with some room. We originally bought a size 8 which was way too big. However, we were able to exchange for a six with no problem. It is well made, warm, and will be able to take a beating from a rather active 7 year old boy. We will purchase another jacket from this seller when our grandson outgrows this one!

First I ordered 1 size too large, but when I received the jacket it would have only fit my grandson for a few months due to the sleeves being a bit too short for the size. So I requested a return (which they promptly helped me with) and then ordered 2 sizes too large which turned out to be perfect! He loves it and I love how it can be machine washed and holds up wonderfully. I would recommend to anyone. Great deal!
My son first got this jacket when we visited Pearl Harbor. He wore it everywhere and eventually it got too small. I was so happy to find it here on Amazon! My son was very happy! We get compliments on it all the time. It's worth the price and it adorable! I will likely be buying another for my younger son.
I am in love with this jacket and more importantly my son loves it! It’s a great quality, fits well, and it’s a nice warm coat for the fall. My son is a 3T and I ordered a 4T but it fits perfectly.
We ordered this coat for our 2 yr. old great grandson. The quality is top notch, Zipper pulls are little airplanes! Inside tag says: Pilots name........ pilots address........! Just the extra details are amazing. All the many tags are sewn on for many years of wear and tear. I know it will last for a “ hand me down”

This was a Top Quality gift for our little Top Gun! It is really well made and has solid fabric and hardware zipper choices. It will be a favorite until he outgrows it!!
My son had one of these when he was 5 and wore it several years. I bought it in the next size up so it is next size up that he'd wear so he can wear it several seasons. He loved the original he had, and loves this one, which I personalized by putting patches on it from a prior uniform I wore in the Army National Guard. It's great and the company supplying this to Amazon has been great on having an interest in its quality for us. The product would get a 5 (of 5) for quality and the same for service.
I ordered this for my 3T nephew. I thought, they grow so fast, so i ordered a 4/5t. I'M SO GLAD. because it fit him perfectly, but it would not have if I had ordered the prescribed size.So order two sizes too large to get a correct fit, and room for growth.I was the hero of x-mas with this jacket. Never did I have the urge to provide a review more than when I received this jacket! It's of the highest quality and workmanship. Well worth the money! The details, especially the patches and airplane zipper completed the authenticity look of a Flight Jacket. It is perfect for spring and fall weather, and for areas that have mild winters too. Also, the sizing was on point; I purchased a size 10 for my 9-year-old.

My son gets a lot of compliments when he wears this jacket. He'll grow out of it soon but I'm considering keeping it as a keepsake item because it's so cute. It's been very durable and east to care for. We machine was and hang dry. Love the little details too. There's a name tag on the inside and the zippers have a little airplane on them. The price was more than what I would of preferred to pay but it's an excellent quality item and was worth the money.
